RE.121 UNDERSTANDING PEOPLE. This course is to help the student understand some of the problems of childhood so he will be better able to render the very best service to the children with whom he works. (3 hours)

RE. 141 TEACHING TECHNIQUES. Teaching techniques offer the student an oppoflunity to learn the various methods used to present the lesson material to a class. This course emphasizes pedagogical principles and methods of underlying successful teaching.
(4 hours)

RE. 142 CHURCH AGENCIES. Allows the student to take total look at the educational program of the local church in order to help the pastor or the educational director to utilize the entire program of the church for efficient Christian education. (3 hours)

RE.341 CHRISTIAN PHILOSOPHY. Provides the student with an insight tothe philosophy and ideals of the Christian faith.(4 hours)

RE.342 APOLOGETICS. A study of the defense of the Holy Scriptures with the approach to help the student to defend the Faith which was once delivered to the Saints against the attacks and ridicule of the unbelieving, and those who oppose Christianity.
(4 hours)

RE.441 CHURCH HISTORY. Advance course of church history which allows the student to exercise his ability in research and writing whereby he is allowed to research the history of the church and write a theme on his findings. (4 hours)

RE .442 INDEPENDENT RESEARCH. Includes a major writing project where the student researches the doctrine of God in relation to His decrees, His sovereignty, the arguments for his existence as well as the meaning of the various names given him.
(4 hours)

RE.443 DIRECTOR OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION. Provides the individual who feels the call of God to become a director of religious education, with an insight to the duties and methods and skills needed.(4 hours)

RE.541 TEACHING INTERNSHIP. Allows the student to receive credit for on-the-job training. The student must have his employer submit a letter of ceflification as to the duties, responsibilities and activities to the Academic Dean for approval.

RE.542 INTRODUCTION TO CHRISTIAN EDUCATION. I and II. This course introduces the student to various aspects of Christian education. It is divided into two sections. (8 hours)

RE.543 HISTORY OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION. Takes the student from the beginnings of Christian education, through the middle ages, early modern times, post reformation centuries, to education in America. (4 hours)

RE.544 PHILOSOPHY OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION. A survey and an exploration of the philosophy of religious educators from the time of Christ to the 1900's. (4 hours)

RE.545 COMPARATIVE RELIGIONS. A survey of religious philosophies and practices of the world's major religions. (4 hours)

RE.546 INDEPENDENT RESEARCH. The student is permitted to research a given area in the field of religious education. He must request permission from the Academic Dean and submit the subject intent. Should contain 5,000 to 10,000 words.(4 hours)

RE.680 ADVANCED APOLOGETICS: I and II. A study of the Holy Scriptures, tracing the history of the KJV Bible, as well as studying the Scriptures in regards to their authenticity, inspiration, and the major arguments opposing Christianity.(8 hours)

RE.681 INTRODUCTION TO COUNSELING. The discipline and skill necessary for effective pastoral counseling in the role and function of the average pastor is provided. The student will find this course practical and helpful.(8 hours)

RE.682 EFFECTIVE BIBLICAL COUNSELING. To be an effective Christian counselor the student needs to know how to counsel in the light of God's word. This course provides the student with a Biblical approach to counseling and meeting the needs of those who seek spiritual guidance. (8 hours)

RE.683 COUNSELING INTERNSHIP. This course provides an opportunity for a student majoring in counseling to earn credit through on-the-job training. The student is required to submit monthly reponse as to his activities and progress. Should the student be associated with another counselor, the one with whom he is employed should submit a letter to the Academic Dean certifying the students activities and progress. (8 hours)

RE.684 MISSIONARY LIFE AND WORK. An approach is made to acquaint the prospective missionary with the life and work of a missionary on the field. A look at the daily activities, the problems, and the duties of the missionary. (8 hours)

RE.685 CUSTOMS AND CULTURES. To acquaint the student with the cultures and customs that can be expected in the missionary's new field of service. This helps the missionary to be better able to adjust to his new surroundings. ( 8 hours)
