ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Persons desiring to enroll in the College, Seminary, or University division of Emmanuel, must make application with the office of the registrar. Application forms may be obtained by request from the administration office. Please complete the application and submit it, along with a photo, and the proper fees.

All applicants will be individually evaluated by a validation test and then suggestions will be made as to what program he or she should matriculate.

All applicants will give testimony as having accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Attending school at Emmanuel Baptist University is a privilege, not a right. If, in the opinion of the University administration, a student does not meet the academic and moral standards of the University, that student will be asked to leave. Should this occur, any tuition which has been paid that is unused will be refunded. If a student should leave voluntarily for disciplinary reasons, a refund may be made at the discretion of the office, of any unused tuition. Drop-outs will not normally he refunded after 90 days. Any one who leaves in good standing, may return the following academic year and receive up to 75% credit on tuition and fees.

Applicants must be 18 years of age, and be a high school graduate, or equivalency thereof.

Emmanuel Baptist University was established to train men and women, both young and old, for Christian service, and will be of primary help to the following:

Those who are preparing for full-time Christian service as pastors, evangelists, missionaries, and other related fields within the vocation of Christian ministry.

Those who because of an irregular academic background cannot enroll in a traditional college or seminary, may by satisfactory completion of a battery of tests devised by the National Association of Bible Colleges, A, B, C, D, 1959, enroll in Emmanuel Baptist University.

All those who simply have a desire to acquire a better knowledge of the Word of God, that they may be of greater service to their church, and to the kingdom of the Lord.

Graduates of the four year program at Emmanuel School of Religion, are eligible to enroll in graduate programs at: Emmanuel Bible College, Emmanuel Baptist College, Emmanuel Baptist Seminary, and Emmanuel Baptist University.

An applicant may he given advanced standing through credit transfer from another recognized College or Seminary. Credit assessment of life experience and learning maybe given at the discretion for the University, upon completion of the Life Experience curriculum application.

It is the philosophy of Emmanuel, that if one has obtained the necessary skills in the field of ministry, he should he able to get college or seminary credit for this learning. Students who have acquired substantial knowledge and skill in the appropriate subject areas, may apply for credit by evaluation. Credit of 6 semester hours for each year spent in Christian service. Credit may be given based on hours completed in a secular college or university, on any achievement or award given by community or denominational organizations.
